End of year question for the group. What is that one maintenance step you always forget until a print suddenly fails and reminds you the hard way?

Maybe it is a nozzle that needed cleaning or a loose belt or a build plate that definitely was not as clean as you thought. It always feels obvious right after the failure.

What is the thing your printer uses to humble you every December?

Nozzle maintenance gets me every time. I’ll be printing fine for weeks and then suddenly extrusion goes weird. Turns out I ignored a slow buildup way too long. It always happens on a print I started after everyone went to bed.
