Ender 3 3D printer glass bed issue

I just upgraded my Ender 3 to a glass bed, but I’m losing adhesion after the first layer
I’ve tried hairspray and glue sticks, but the prints still pop off midway and leave a spaghetti mess under the nozzle
I’m running the bed at 60, is it possible the hairspray is just drying up too fast?
would lowering the temp help, or should I do something else?

Glass beds can be weird at first because they’re super sensitive to cleanliness and first layer squish. Before chasing temps, I’d do two quick checks: wash the glass with hot water and plain dish soap, dry it, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol. After that, re-do your Z offset so the first layer is slightly more “squished” than you think you need.

Bed at 60 is usually fine for PLA. If anything, going lower can make adhesion worse. If your room is chilly, a simple draft shield around the printer can also stop mid print pop offs.

Glass beds can be weirdly picky. If first layer sticks but it pops later, I’d check 3 things before changing temps. Clean the glass with dish soap and hot water first, then a wipe with IPA. Recheck Z offset because glass thickness changes the squish. Then watch if a draft or part cooling is hitting the print and shrinking it loose. 60C is usually fine for PLA.
