This month I reprinted a model I’d already done earlier, expecting the same result, but the difference caught me off guard. Same 3D printer, same filament spool, same settings saved from before. The newer print just didn’t look as clean, especially on the finer details.
After going through the usual checks, the only variable I can think of is room temperature. The space where my printer sits gets much colder in December, and now I’m wondering how much that’s actually affecting things like layer adhesion and cooling.
For those who’ve dealt with seasonal temp changes around their 3D printer, what adjustments made the biggest difference for you?
