Turning 3D printing into profit

Hey! just picked up my first quality 3D printer! Right now, I'm mostly printing figures, cool models, and utility spare parts for around the house.
My question is, how do I move from a cool hobby to a reliable side hustle? My printer is great for detailed figures (resin) and functional items (filament).

Also, I know Etsy is saturated with trinkets. What's the smartest way to advertise custom/on-demand printing? Should I focus on local Facebook groups, partnering with nearby hobby shops, or just creating a super focused Instagram niche?
Any advice or insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

What does your printer do best ?, the resin detail or functional parts?, you should lean into that and tie it to a specific audience. local hobby shops and facebook groups are usually the fastest way to get real customers, since people already know what they want but can’t make it themselves
