The nozzle is clogged

My Creality Ender 3 V2 has been doing great up untill a few days ago when I noticed that the nozzle is clogged. My first question is how to unclog it and the second one is how to prevent it in the future?

I usually unclog it with a small needle or by doing a 'cold pull.' To use a needle, just heat the nozzle up to your printing temp, and then gently push the needle up into the nozzle to dislodge the clog.
For a cold pull, heat the nozzle to about 350°F, push new filament in, let it cool to around 200°F, and then pull it out in one quick motion. This can grab a lot of the gunk that's causing the problem

this is what I usually do to unclog. first, preheat the nozzle, then manually pull the filament and use a needle to clear the blockage.
now, to frevent for it happen again, make sure the PTFE tube is flush with the hotend, correct any heat creep issues, check your retraction settings, and use a filament wiper.

I’ve used one of those tiny cleaning needles before like kind of nerve-wracking the first time but it worked. Still trying to figure out why it keeps happening though. Maybe my filament’s too old?
