What first pulled you into 3D printing?

I’m curious what first pulled everyone into 3D printing. Was it the creative side, the tech itself, or just the fun of making something from scratch? It feels like everyone has a different entry point, and the stories are always interesting. If you think back to when you first got started, what was the moment that made you say, ok I’m jumping into this hobby?

For me it started as a practical thing. I wanted to fix or replace small stuff around the house instead of tossing it. Once I saw a simple print solve a real problem, I was hooked and the hobby side followed naturally.
