There is something about looking at your printer at the end of the year and thinking, yeah I would not do that the same way again. So custom builds are great teachers like that.
So... if you were starting a DIY or custom printer build again in 2026... what part or which design decision would you change right away? Frame choice, motion system, electronics, wiring layout, or something you thought was clever at the time but turned out to be a headache.
