Best slicer for fast and strong prints?

I’m working on a school robot project and need my prints to be quick and look good. I used Cura before but I haven’t tried PrusaSlicer or Simplify3D yet.
Which one gives good speed and strong prints? Also, how do you set infill and wall thickness so the parts are strong but don’t use too much filament? Thanks!
 
Simplify3D’s not worth the price anymore. Cura and PrusaSlicer both do the job, and Bambu Studio’s getting popular if you ever use their printers. The key’s walls like go thicker perimeters and less infill. It’s the shell holding everything together, not the honeycomb.
 
For fast, strong prints, PrusaSlicer wins. Set infill to 25% gyroid and at least 3 perimeters. Keep layer height around 0.2 mm and you’ll get good balance between speed, detail, and toughness.

yeah, I agree. prusaslicer is generally faster, particularly with features that automatically prevent printing too fast for the hotend (maximum volumetric speed).
It's highly customizable with powerful features, including per object settings and more advanced support options, I think it's perfect for your needs
 
If you want strong parts without long print times, PrusaSlicer’s adaptive settings can help because you can dial in walls and infill more precisely than in Cura. Most people start with thicker walls and a moderate infill since walls carry more load than density alone. It could help to test a small part with two and three wall lines to see how much difference it makes. Are your parts taking impacts or just supporting weight?
