I need to build a custom 3d printer for a project, where's the best place to get the parts for this? I'm in Texas, it would be great if I could get it in an offline store, but I'm open to online store recos too
thanks, guys!

Texas actually has a few decent makerspace suppliers, but for printer-specific components, online vendors still have the strongest selection. Places like MatterHackers or Fystec ship quickly and carry most of the core parts used in custom builds. Do you already have a target size or motion system in mind?

If you want to walk into a store and grab things today, Micro Center’s probably your best shot in Texas. Offline options are kinda limited. Most of us end up mixing it with online orders anyway like LDO kits from Amazon or Fabreeko. Depends how custom you’re going.
