Does your workbench also become a constant project?

I’ve been weirdly obsessed with reorganizing my work desk lately and I honestly don’t know why. I keep moving stuff around, shifting my shelves, trying different layouts, then realizing it still doesn’t feel right. I’ve changed the setup like five times this week and now I’m wondering if I spent more time rearranging than actually printing anything.

Does this happen to anyone else or am I just procrastinating in a creative way? I keep thinking a better layout will make me “more productive” but maybe I’m just creating extra work for myself. What’s your setup like right now and how often do you change it?

Reorganizing can be helpful, but doing it five times in one week might just mean you are looking for a workflow that has not locked in yet. A 3D printing workspace usually stabilizes once tools, filament, and cleaning supplies all have fixed spots. It could help to print something small first and then adjust the bench based on how you actually move around it. Are you changing everything at once or tweaking one section at a time?

I used to constantly change my setup until I realized stability mattered more than perfection. Once I locked in a layout and stopped touching it, I actually printed more. Now I only change things if something clearly isn’t working. Chasing the perfect bench never really ends.
