I’ve designed and built a few 3D printers. I’m currently using a modified Jubilee design with four interchangeable tool heads.

Hi @mperdue, nice to hear that you've built some 3D printers. How big are the ones you usually build?

Mine have all been 400mm x 300mm x 400mm. It gives me a fairly large build envelope for the kind of things I normally print.

Nice. What type of things do you usually print? I have a 16-year-old friend who has been doing 3D printing of components to make a CAD that will cut out foam board plane components for RC planes he has made and flown.

Mostly model related stuff. Upgraded parts for my rockets, display stands and other stuff like that.
