Which filament material printed better than expected?

As we wrap up the year, a lot of people start experimenting with new filaments and sometimes the quietest spool turns out to be the star of the show.

Which material printed way better than you thought it would? And did you have to adjust your workflow or did it behave nicely with your normal setup?

I tried a matte PLA thinking it was mostly an aesthetic thing. Turned out it hid layer lines better and printed more consistently than my usual filament. Didn’t need major workflow changes either. That one caught me off guard.
