There is always that one "ohhh" moment when a small change makes everything feel less crazy. What did you do instead of what you used to do? For example, did you stop constantly re-leveling and start checking Z-offset correctly, or did you stop chasing temps and stick to a stable profile?

Choose one habit or change in your environment that worked and explain what it was like before and after in simple terms. If you share the little proof you saw, like fewer mystery failures, cleaner seams, better first layers, or just being able to hit print without hovering over the machine, you'll get extra points.

I'm interested to see what shows up most often because this kind of thread can save new people weeks of frustration.

Mine was filament storage. I thought it was all settings, but my PLA started popping and stringing on humid days. I put the spool in a dry box and the same profile suddenly behaved, like fewer weird blobs and less random roughness.

Adding bed leveling to my Ender 3 Pro really helped me defeat the issues I was facing with a warped bed. I was able to get good results on small prints by leveling a 4" centered square on my bed rather than all the way to the corners. This only helped for small parts that could fit within that region, though. When making large prints or trying to make several smaller parts on one plate, I still encountered issues. Eventually, buying a CR touch and upgrading to the mriscoc firmware eliminated my problem.
