Messy first layer after nozzle change

I've switched to a 0.6mm nozzle, and now my first layers are coming out messy and curling up. I've leveled the bed, and I'm using a standard Ender 3. What should I look into?
 
Yeah, happened to me too when I changed to a 0.6mm nozzle on my Ender 3 to print faster. The nozzle was too close to the bed, so I adjusted the Z-offset a little. I also made the bed a bit hotter and slowed down the first layer. That helped the print stick better and stopped the edges from curling. Try that one when you can

Run a quick bed level test (like the CHEP one). It's great for spotting sticking problems and getting your new nozzle just right.

I just swapped to a 0.6mm nozzle on my Ender 3 to speed up some tool holder prints, but the first layers have been rough. How much did you bump the Z-offset, and what bed temp worked best for you? I've mostly used PLA, curious if this tweak helps with PETG too.
 
Slow the first layer, drop your Z a tiny amount, clean the bed, and check tension on Z rollers. Those four tweaks are 90 % of first-layer mess in my experience.
