What’s the simplest resin wash and cure process that actually works every time?

I’m starting to enjoy resin printing more now that my wash and cure routine isn’t a constant question mark. When it’s dialed, it feels almost relaxing. Print, wash, dry, cure, done. That part is super satisfying because it makes the hobby feel consistent instead of chaotic.

This weekend I noticed the difference on a small mini base. Same resin, same printer, but I slowed down the post processing and let it dry longer before curing. The print came out clean, no sticky feel, and I didn’t have to keep wiping fingerprints off it. It sounds basic, but that was the first time it felt like I actually had a repeatable system.

What’s your simplest setup that keeps resin post processing easy? Do you do two stage washing, use a cheap turntable for curing, dedicated containers, specific drying time, or anything else that made it feel less messy?

Slowing down the dry step was the game changer for me. I do a quick first wash, then a second wash with cleaner solvent, then I leave it under a small fan for a bit before cure. It feels less chaotic when everything has a home, like labeled containers and a drip tray. How long are you letting it dry now before curing.

hi @ViviOrnitier I can tell you that that extra drying time is the real secret. I moved to a two stage wash last year and never looked back.
I use a dirty bucket of IPA for the initial dunk to get the bulk off, then a clean bucket for the final rinse.
it keeps the final alcohol bath crystal clear

Dedicated containers made the biggest difference. One labeled dirty, one labeled clean, and a drip tray so I am not chasing resin across the desk. I also keep a little soft brush for crevices. After wash, I give it a few minutes to dry then I cure. When I do not rush the dry, everything feels cleaner and less fingerprint prone.
